Dallas GTG?

Bump, anyone have a favorite day/time? Weekend evenings work for everyone, or weekend afternoons? Does anyone else here go to Cars n Coffee the first saturday of the month?

I've been quiet because I haven't had a bug for about two weeks...he's home - for now.

I might try to make the Cars and Coffee thing if I know someone I know will be there. I think this coming April 2nd I might be able to do it...when is it usually over? 9:30?

I don't have a preference...I am off on weekends. I mentioned that Sundays at 5pm is when the DFW New Beetle Club used to meet...but that was established before I got there and always worked for me...I'm sure that some folks have church sunday nights though.

I would think for someone like Randi that a lunch meet up might be best. I drove up to Edmond for a meet up with those guys last year at noon and that gave me plenty of time to get there eat and get back and still have an evening free for whatever.

Dragwn - post up the info on the Cars and Coffee and let's make that our first mini get together to kick each others tires and meet each other. Maybe there we can discuss when we could do a May-June GTG as well while we are there.

Cars and Coffee™ Dallas meets at 6800 Dallas Parkway, Plano TX 75024.
Cars and Coffee™ Dallas meets on the first Saturday of the month from 8:00am to 12:00pm.

Only bad thing is that Alice will be in Mesquite as my wife has to work the day of Cars n Coffee, but I will be there probably on my motorcycle unless my car is clean

It usually runs from 8am until people wander off which is heat dependent but normally 10:30am

I'll try to drum up some of the older members of the DFW New Beetle Club to see if they are interested in getting together. I'll send out a mass email.

BTW - I finally got in and fixed the registration on the DFW forum if anyone cares to sign up and check it out...it's got a lot of great local resources in it's database of threads. Figured it has been sitting long enough and I finally found time to update the software and voila! It works again.

I checked with DFWEuros and they suggest getting there between 7-7:30 to get a spot. I figure I will arrive around 7:15. They suggest you park with your country...or other VW's. Gonna going to have to get to be early on Friday night. LOL

So tempted. But I can't drive too far out of OKC right now. Not until I get that EGR Cooler flex pipe fixed. Maybe May?
