Default Recommendation for a good VW repair shop in the San Francisco Bay Area?

I know of a few in the South Bay, but I recently moved up toward San Francisco on the Peninsula now. I've had bad experiences with a bunch of shops and dealers, so I'm hoping to find one based on a personal recommendation. Any suggestions?

Thanks all!

they only work on VW/audi and are honest with reasonable prices.
I am in South Bay, so if you know some good garages, please share with us, Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion! Fred's has done a really good job for me in the past and I wound up taking my Beetle back there this week.

I had a pretty good experience with Chet's European Auto Care in Santa Clara:

They did a good job for a reasonable price on mechanical stuff, but they threw their hands in the air when it came to fixing some less obvious electrical problems I was having. I was told to replace my ECU (very expensive) or wait until the problem got worse. A little frustrating, but still an overall OK experience.
