Default 75 LaGrande Bug for Sale

75 LaGrande Bug. 10,000 original miles. Original West Coast car. Exceptionally repainted original color. All original interior. Dash not cracked. Original rims that need to be sandblasted and repainted. Undercarriage treated with POR-15. Car has been sitting so the gas tank needs to be drained. All new front suspension parts so will need to be realigned. Have to many toys and painfully regret having to sell. If any questions feel free to ask.
Pictures available upon request.

Sounds like a great car.
One little tip:
Try and get the tank and alignment taken care of before selling. The pay back will be well worth it.
Anytime you say "it just needs this or that" the price you get will be a lot lower than if you just had it taken care of first.
Just a suggestion.
Pics would be great.

You are so right. I am just not knowledgable enough on removing the gas tank and putting it back. I don't have anyone that I can count on either to ask. I know this sounds a bit fanatical but I just don't let anyone touch my bugs. It has been my experience that when you speak to people they think they are so easy to work on and then things don't get done correctly. What's funny is I just found a guy in CT, about 1hr. away that will teach people willing to learn. I am seriously considering it.

It was a take-off of the 74 Sun Bug. It has the crank sunroof, special material seats, special rims and they only came in, if I am not mistaken, 3 colors.

The Lagrande bug was actually only available as a Super beetle where at the sunbug you could get a standard or superbeetle style as well as a convertible . They offered Two color choices for the Lagrande Ancona blue metallic ( which is yours ) Or Lime green Metallic. like the sunbug they too got special interiors

LIttle link from thesamba about the Lagrand

There was a youtube vid that had a commerical for the Lagrande with Zsa zsa gabor but youtube is being difficult tonite

My friend in michigan has one of these his has an autostick that he daily drives spring-fall .

Good luck with the sale .!

Hey I seen your thread on here, and was wondering if you still have the 75 super la grande available? I have been looking for years for a 75 super, cause my grandmother had one when I was little. She sold it to buy a Dodge OMNI. *agony* haha I know. Any information and pics you could provide would be greatly appreciated. you can email me personally at clphipps79@yahoo.com or just reply to my post here, Thanks for your time.

Chris
