Default WTB Dark Blue Convertible for use as a Christmas Ornament

Looking for a Dark Blue New Beetle convertible die cast or something like it that would be small enough for use as a Christmas tree ornament.

Hell, when I saw the title I thought you were looking for a real one, and I wanted to see a picture of the tree you were going to hang it on!

I mean, I'm from Texas, and we are used to doing things big here, but...

But seriously, there have been one or two WTS: NB key chain posts in the last week or two.

Or go here:
Welcome to the VW DriverGear Store or any one of the other VW Accessory Stores online

Or Hello! www.google.com "vw beetle toy car", "vw beetle die cast replica", you get the idea

Or my favorite,

Looked at my collection...sorry no blue, or even verts. Ebay might be your friend with this. Good luck!

Maybe I should hang BlueBell from the Pecan Tree in the back yard....

I have been searching hard On Ebay and Google but no one seems to have a Dark Blue Vert. Lots of other colors but no dark blue. That's why I thought I would go to the source here on the New Beetle forum. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Have you considered, maybe, like a new paint job!
You could paint the toy blue or paint your car the color of the toy.
I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist!

If nothing else, we're keepin' your post on top!

I will keep my out.

Good luck in your quest, and have a Happy Holiday Season!

One die cast car + VW touch up paint = success!

I actually started thinking about painting another color to the dark blue last night. I found a black one and a dark green one on Ebay. They seem to have a bit of detail work that might be a tad troublesome to mask off. I wonder what MACO would charge

So, being new to the New Beetle world, is the dark blue vert a rare color? It certainly seems so from the perspective of the toy makers.

Wait you found a "small" Blue NBC on amazon? Do you have a photo of this little guy? What did you search for? VW convertible?
