The window won't stay up, it acts like the pinch protector is active. I push the button all the way up, the window goes up then half way back down and stops. Why?

hmm i saw a thread with a beetle with the same problem...I can't find the linkright now but I'll check again later. most peopel said that the pinch protection was kicking on for some reason like either the stripping was binding it or could have some dust or a little rock or soemthign that woudl make it come back down.
