Default A Very Fuel Efficient VW

My apologies if this has been shown before, but in recent discussions about VW fuel economy, this is what VW has shown it can do in developing a fuel efficienty car. Anyone for a test drive?

Test drive hell!! I want one! All it needs is a kickin stereo and I can carry it in the back of my truck as a spare.

WOW. Talk about a gas sipper... If it could be proved it was safe as VW states, then it would sell well in the US.

Safe to get run over by a ford behemeth? haha not likely. Safe on a road full of normal sized, fuel efficient cars yes.

So it'll never hit the US roads, not safe against some of those vehicles out there.

Id get one!

Sure it is small but seen the Lotus Elise? I saw one the other day in front of one of these behemoths (which was jacked up with huge tires too). I don't know HOW the dude with the pick em' up truck saw the lotus in front of them.

US car manufacturers are not responsible when it comes to safely/fuel efficiency. They would rather make a few extra thousand dollars then sell a safe vehicle. It is sad.

I just hope that the technology comes over to actual practical cars that VW offers here. A Polo sized car that gets close to 100 mpg would rock!

I've been thinking a lot about this car.
Today I figured out what it is - A REVERSE VEYRON!!!
Bet the aerodynamics experience from Boughatti didn't go to waste

I'm sorry, but there is no way I would trade in my new beetle for this car. It is ugly. I know gas prices are going to keep going up, but I think I will stick with new beetle. I love it.

It would not be profitable for vw to sell that car here. The components alone are too expensive without having to facture in labor. I would't call it ugly.

This is ugly.
