You would be better served by posting this on VWVortex in their Jetta forums. The Beetle doesn't have Climatronic. Unless there is a member here with knowledge of this system, you may not receive an answer.

My '05 Jetta has climatronic. when the heater has been on for about 45 minutes the car suddenly becomes much cooler. is this programmed into clmatronic?
