Default Steelie wheel question

Hey folks,

I'm think I'm kind of confused by an amazon product listing I found...

I have just black steelies on my 98 2.0L, and I think the new style (or old style?) caps are just sexy. I want to as closely as possible replicate what you see in this picture.

This is about as close as I can find, and I see that the amazon product page has only two available, but they can't be that hard to find, can they? Here is another picture of what I imagine to be the same thing. Where do I find a set of these?

Does anyone have any pictures of what I'm getting at?

Thanks guys, have a good one

That is the retro alloy on a 2012 beetle. You can get retro caps for new beetle steel rims, they are held on be clips that screw on to the wheels.

Your first picture is of a Retro look 2012 Beetle steelie. Keep in mind the 2012 Beetle has a different bolt pattern 5x112 vs 5x100 of the 1998-2010 New Beetle's.
The second picture you posted is actually just a plastic center cap for the 16 inch stock alloy wheels similar to the ones I have on my car and won't do you any good on your Steelies. Like the previous poster has already mentioned you can get the original Hug Caps from the old style beetle and make them work if that is the look you are aiming for.

Thanks for the replies. What kind of fabrication do I have to do once I get the old style caps?

Default center caps

One of the pictures above shows new beetle steel wheels with old beetle center caps. How do you get them on the new rims? Also is there a a universal center cap that will fit the steel wheels

The 2012's are not steelies, they are alloy wheels.
