Anybody ever tried to repair/fill a tiny hole or tear in their seat leather? I've got a hole worn thru the piping on the drivers seat (door side) which, I think, happens to most of these cars w/leather as the mileage and, thus, the entering and exiting multiplies. What product would be good to fill the hole and, probably, colorize it to match?

Yes, In fact I have. There are leather repair kits available at auto parts stores, from small kits of only a few colors, to larger kits with many. The kits aren't too hard to use. You can mix the colors offered in the kit to match your existing leather. You might also find a good tutorial on youtube if you give a search. They seem to have how-to's on everything. Good luck! 
I've done a tear repair with this kit on my '04 NBC sport leather seats. Color matches perfectly, durable long lasting repair that is barely visible.
Best kit around. A bit pricey, but you won't get a better result with generic "mix your own" auto parts store kits.
